Information related to the election process:

  • Date: Thursday 16th February 2012 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Search your name in the voters list and the address of the voting booth assigned: Click here
  • You can also search for your name in the voters list by sending a sms in the given format, VOTER KEYWORD FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME SURNAME AGE to 56677.
  • For eg, “Voter MCGM Rahul Ramchandra Rane 35″ to 56677. Result eg, “Searched 1 – Rahul Ramchandra Rane 35 M AC:181 EP:114 SR:820″.
  • You will be allowed to vote only if your name is present in the voters list so ensure that it is present in the voters list.
  • The election helpline number is 9225320011 which will be available from 8 am to 8 pm.
  • The election results will be declared on 17th February.
  • You will be required to bring along anyone of the following identity proofs at the voting centre:
    • Election Card
    • Passport
    • PAN Card
    • Ration card (All the eligible voters from the family must come together)
    • Government employee identity card
    • Nationalised bank or post office savings passbook etc
  • Thursday 16th February 2012 has been declared a paid holiday in Mumbai by the government, so don’t forget to come out and vote in full force.
